Pro tip: Great introduction to statistics! My biochemistry professor once advised me that ANYONE who knows statistics will get a job in science (and medicine). I am a resident physician, and I can tell you FOR SURE that most providers do not want to do their own statistics which means you doing their statistics will get you a spot as a published author on that research paper. I imagine the same goes for any laboratory. That and data mining- if you know how to collect and organize data, you are GOLDEN. Now for the goods: This is a bundle and includes both books. Book #1 (the white book) is ISBN 0618031650, Understandable statistics Concepts & Methods Instructor’s Annotated Edition Enhanced Edition by Charles Henry Brase & Corrinne Pellillo Brase. 8th Edition. Hard cover. Minor shelfware. I taped my math syllabus over a blank page but did not remove as I did not want to rip the page. There may be a few pencil markings, but on cursory flip through, I did not see anything.v Book #2 (the yellow book) is ISBN 1429216220, Introduction to the practice of statistics by David Moore, George McCabe, Bruce Craig. 6th Edition. Has shelfware with corners of the front and back page curled from having moved every year during my college years.. otherwise there are sometimes pen markings, mostly pencil markings. I did glue a page of my notes into this book (for quick reference) and did not want to rip this out. This book includes the original CDROM (for you ’90s kids who remember what these are).
